We are energy beings and everything around us is made up of energy vibrating at its own frequency, this includes past traumas and thoughts. Since everything is energy we have energetic ties to all that is in our existence, such as past experiences, relationships, people, etc.
What many don’t know is that each negative life incident continues to gain momentum if it remains unresolved or ignored. You may be wondering, how can this affect me? Well first, there is an intimate and intertwined relationship between the mind and the body known as the mind-body connection. Eventually, unresolved trauma and negative thoughts can manifest itself in our physical body as an illness or disease.
Let me explain how – the more we fill our minds with negative, oppressive emotions like anger, fear, blame, grief, guilt we begin contaminating or obstructing our energy flow which creates imbalances in our energy field or closure of a particular chakra. Furthermore, our chakras are responsible for the proper functioning of our vital organs, so when one or more of our chakras are blocked over time it will affect the organs under their control.  I do want to point out that emotions are totally normal, we are emotional creatures designed to factor feeling into everything that we do, but emotions that are not being properly dealt with or suppressed for a long period of time can affect us in undesirable ways.
Throughout my life I’ve seen how these dark and heavy energies have affected the lives and health of those around me including my own.
